KIPPAL: 3BR/2Bath Penthouse | Luxurious Stay

Great location, close to town, restaurants, and the ferry and diving piers. Excellent breakfast was provided, and the hosts were very helpful with our plans. Would definitely stay again.

This Airbnb feels like staying in a premium suite at a hotel. There’s AC in every room and the hosts are very good at being responsive. Only downside side was the washer flooded but the Kippal team fixed it same day so it wasn’t too much of an issue.

Amazing attitude of staff ! :) I was very surprised in the hospitality me and my friends were provided with. The place is luxurious, very well located. The only thing I would slightly point out is, that the "breakfast" that is included, is more like a snack bar (they serve bites, small yogurts, small bowls of cereal). However, on the other hand, we were welcomed with a free beer in our fridge, so you could say it balances out :)

The kitchen lacked anything useable. No coffee pot, the kitchen sink leaked. It lacked any preparation. There were no kitchen towels,limited utensils, kitchen cabinets were hard to open. The location was great. We didn’t like the fact that guest were only allowed at the roof top and the lobby. This defeats the purpose of renting an AirNB to enjoy it. We were also told that we were responsible to bring the pool towels and make sure the turned them in at check out. We complied. The check out person just told us “leave them there”. The bartender on the roof was very friendly.

We didn’t get to do any activities due to the weather, but it was pricey. But overall, it was a good area to stay. The people in the reception office were nice and they even left me a nice gesture for our wedding

Wonderful flat in the heart of Cozamel. This hotel has it all and the best amenities and service. Perfect location, walkable to many great restaurants, rooftop views infinity pool and a cash bar! We will return.

We had a wonderful stay, this was a great host. The pool was fantastic, we stayed and watched every sunset there. The space was very clean, check in was easy and fast, and there were great taquerias and other restaurants all around the condo. Absolutely recommend this space, our crew would return again. Amazing experience before, during, and after stay at Kippal. Concierge Julia also helped with booking a jeep and provide useful information. Gran hotel, excelente ubicación, queda muy cerca del malecón y restaurantes. La zona es muy tranquila. Las instalaciones están muy bonitas. Las camas están deliciosas justo lo que necesitas después de un día en los tours. La terraza y la vista del atardecer es espectacular. Este alojamiento está ideal para unos días de descanso con todas las comodidades.

Our host Julia was easy to speak to and great with keeping in contact. She was flexible with check in and check out. The place was close to everything. The penthouse was beautiful. They had bikes for use which was great to explore the coastline which we did. The first night we couldn’t sleep in the Master because of water issues with the bed from the heavy rain that fell in Mexico but Julia got that settled quickly the next day. The views of the ocean were perfect and it was cool seeing the cruise ship coming and going. Would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed our stay at Kippal! The staff were friendly and responsive. The location is great and very walkable to many restaurants and the grocery store. All three bedrooms were very comfortable, including very comfy beds, and had excellent air conditioning split units. Flat screen tvs in every bedroom and in the living room. The rooftop pool was a great way to watch the island and cool off and relax. My only surprise was that unlike many other condo type places there was nothing at all left behind on the kitchen by previous tenants and so you will provide everything like paper towels, salt and pepper, basic staples. Not a downer but something to know when planning ahead. The gym and game room were in the lobby so we didn’t participate. Loved how clean and comfortable our unit was. A great stay!

Kippal was very safe and clean - we had a memorable stay in Cozumel. However, note that this is not very close to the beach and you will need to drive to get to any beach or dive locations! Beyond that, great space with wonderful AC. Hosts were responsive during working hours (9-5) and allowed us to store our luggage after checkout, which was very helpful. A bit expensive but otherwise a great spot.

It was the best place I stayed so far in Cozumal. The views of the Caribbean were stunning! It made for a great stay! Staff was amazing!

We had a wonderful stay at kippal! Everyone was very friendly and helpful. They took care of us from start to finish. The roof top is very beautiful and a lovely place to relax and enjoy the views of the city and the ocean. A great spot for sunset! If you are booking the penthouse, be advised there is two different airbnbs- one with a wrap around balcony and one with two separate balconies. We did not get the one that matched the pictures we booked. But the rooms and everything was very similar, the balconies seem to be the main difference. The location is wonderful easy to get to town center and we had no problem parking our vehicle in front. We would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was very clean and the location can’t be beat. Close to things, but far enough away from the cruise ships (upwards of 40k people per day) to not feel bothered by it. And the pool… dreamy! The terrace is a perfect place to watch the sunset. The communication with the host was easy, despite having to ask for things a couple times. We had to ask multiple times to get the trash taken out and finally I gave up and went and got trash bags to do it myself. The unit in the pictures is not the unit we stayed in. While almost identical, we didn’t have the wraparound balcony, so be prepared for that. The kitchen, despite saying full equipped, is not. No towels, microwave, drying rack, paper towels, or even a thing of salt. There are dishes and a frying pan. That’s it. Overall, I’d give this place a solid 7.5/10.

Our place with Kippal was excellent! The hostess (Julia) was so responsive and kind. She helped us with absolutely anything and everything! We definitely felt safe! We wanted a resort initially but Im so glad we didn’t! We were able to walk to excellent local dining, cool bars and venues overlooking the ocean. Highly recommend!

Staying at this air bnb really made our trip 10/10 they were lovely hosts and and place was truly as advertised, so happy we decided to spend our time here it was just an amazing stay, with amazing views!

Kippal sounded like a great place. The "concierge" Pia said they would be available and gave us a phone number to text but when I texted for help/questions, no response. Concierge was dismissive of local amenities like grocery stores and seemed to think everything needed a taxi though everything is within walking distance. Same thing through AirBnB message. Had to pay for drinkable water but price not specified. Barbecue wasn't easily usable and you had to pay for them to get charcoal and they didn't have usable matches or a lighter. When we tried to check out and pay what was due, the first person said $200 pesos and we were quoted $120 pesos. When we came back later, they wanted $100 pesos - no consistency and feel like first person was just trying to get more money. When asked about transport back to airport, they quoted $200-300 pesos but only cost $100 pesos. Same thing happened when I asked ahead about getting there from airport. Communication sometimes lacking.
